GRADY MARTIN ON 78, "HOT LIPS"
The guitar playing on this corny arrangement is pretty hot-- but if you can't take tinny sound, and warped vinyl warbling, you might want to move along to the next post.

If anyone wonders why a few of us fanatics still seek out old 78s and revere their sound, just watch the warp.... it is perfectly on the up beat each time around. To my mind, no other format ever better captured the energy of real music.
