IF Y'ALL CAN SET A SPELL, KARL WILL PICK A LITTLE BIT FOR YA
(live) Willie Nelson's "Crazy" and Hank Williams Jr.'s hit "Whiskey Bent and Hellbound" are here played instrumentally by Chicken Fried Swing. Ira Gitlin on second guitar. (solo demo) Here I'm flatpicking "Stone's Rag," which I learned from an old Bob Wills record. (for some reason, Bob called it "Lone Star Rag." anyone who wants to weigh in on this raging controversy, feel free to comment.)
