(solo demo) Here I'm flatpicking "Stone's Rag," which I learned from an old Bob Wills record. I used to be a rocker, until I inherited my grandfather's Ernest Tubb collection. This was the type of playing that blew my mind and changed my life! ET would say... "Ah, Leon and Billy Bryd..." The Jack Greene and Vern Gosdin era was probably the hottest version of the band, but the classic years rival the TX Playboys.... and, I guess the Cherokee Cowboys are the only band to come close (STILL DO!!!!!!). I know I'm commenting way too much t be cool, but I cam freakin' loving this music!!!!!!!!!!
